Exciting Times
Hello all, I have some exciting news.
My friend makes and sells amazing jewels at Gingers (which can be found here). A while ago she tweeted that she needed a personal assistant as she's started a PGCE, so it's become too much to do all the admin/pr side of Gingers on her own. I tweeted back as a bit of a joke, saying for a free necklace I would love to help.
A month or so on this is now becoming reality and I will be helping her by tweeting/facebooking and blogging on her behalf.
I might also be organising a giveaway, so watch this space.
If you haven't heard of it Gingers is a really good independent jewellery store with some great items (though lets be true I mostly love the necklaces) but there's something for everyone so go and check it out!

Birthday Wish List
Floral Cosmetic Brush Set
$4.80 - forever21.com
With just over a week before my 25th birthday I thought I would share a little "wish list" with you, on the off chance you would like to buy me a present and are stuck for ideas (hint hint! hehe).
Obviously the GQ cover with Jake Gyllenhaal on means I would like JAKE for my birthday, not a magazine with him in....but I guess I'm living in dream world there*. Sigh!
I'm going shopping with my Mam tomorrow as it's VIP Week at Dorothy Perkins so hopefully will buy myself this spotty top with 25% off :D
* On the off chance Jake Gllyenhaal reads this, CALL ME, you will make my life!

Bat Girl.
Last week Scarlett Hearts had a limited edition necklace on their site.
I noticed a tweet saying there was only one left, so I had to snap it up.
In total it cost me £5 including shipping, and was delivery super speedily!
What do you think?

Nail Art 4: Undecided
Hello!
A lot of the time I can't decide how to do my nails so I sometimes look on the internet for inspiration. As I have new nail art pens (mentioned here) I thought I should try out some new designs.
Looking at blogs and photos just confused me so I decided to do a bit of a random free for all and try out lots of looks at once.
This is the finished product:
My thumb has white dots from my new white nail art pen and my pinkie has yellow/orange lines from my yellow nail art pen (I'm guessing it looks orange as the base is a bright shocking pink and I only did one coat for the lines). My right hand has the same designs on, just a lot more shaky as I'm rubbish drawing with my left hand! haha.

Nail Art: Pens.
On Friday I went food shopping with my dad to the big Sainsburys at the Galleries in Washington.
When we go there we always pop to Home Bargains and sometimes Poundworld. I am SO glad I went into Poundworld as I found these nail art pens for £1 each (duh!)
I haven't used them yet.....(waiting for my nail varnish to dry before I can give them ago...so check out nail art:4 post soon!)....but I can't imagine they will be that bad, and even if they are terrible it's probably due to my technique, or lack of. And at £1 each it's not a big waste if they are bad.
They only had two colours at that store, but I'm going to hunt out for more (esp if they're good!)
